Today was exciting! My students really enjoyed our reading cafe. With the reading cafe, students were able to rotate and explore three different books. Rotations included: viewing book trailers, listening to the audio, and examining the book itself. Each book had two stations to explore.

Students also had a book menu to keep track of their responses. At the end of rotations, students were able to choose their novel by filling out a google form. With the google form, I will be able to create reading groups. You can find many book menus on TPT, unfortunately, I haven’t created my own yet. However, you may view my TPT store for a novel reflection form to start off with and quiz questions for Freak the Mighty. I really recommend trying to incorporate a reading cafe with your students, this will give you all a little brain break.
Love always and happy reading!
Jen
